Birthday
I am waiting for Barb’s arrival tomorrow and am very excited. Although now the weather is a little colder and rainy. I have finally moved into my new apartment and really like it so far. I live with 2 boys from the north of Spain, one girl from Belgium and one girl from Holland. They are all students and around my age which is really nice. Yesterday I also received a wonderful birthday package from Grandma and Grandpa Lurhing. I made the mac n cheese last night and brought the rest with me to school for lunch! It was very nice to see food from my home country. I have a small list of things to do when Barb is here but we also have to see our friend Laura, her cousin Moni, and my senora who wants to meet my mom. Anyways, I am going to try to post my photos of my new apartment when I get home to my WIFI that I finally got to work. My computer is slowly dying at school and I need to find an outlet. So I will post them in a new post!
Caitlin, Tu madre is excited for her visit tambien! She actually left GB an hour later than she planned but still made it to the airport 4 hours early! Tommy and Jennifer are coming to GB to visit with Grandma. Tommy hasn’t seen her condo yet. We are looking forward to having them.

I bet your Mom is more excited than you are. I talked to her tonight just before her flight out of Philadelphia. I hope you 2 have a good time. She’s got 3 bottles of Aleve for your senora. This week the kitchen table was filled with stuff to bring to you. I hope you have some extra space in your new room. I’m glad you got your wifi figured out. I’ll probably be “Skyping” you soon.

I’m so glad you have the box already. They always tell you that it’s going to take much longer than it does to get there. It’s 6:00 AM here so maybe you and your mom are having a great talk fest by now. We are leaving for Orange Beach in about 2 hours. Can’t wait to be in some warmer weather. So, Happy Birthday a little early and have a great time with your mom. Will try and e-mail you from Orange Beach AL.

Hope you are having a great experience in Spain and enjoying your mother’s visit. Spring is just starting to arrive in North Carolina where it is expected to get into the 70s this weekend. On Sunday it was 20 degrees with snow.
